Putting machines to the test
September 6, 2008

Mckenna Franzen, 13, left, a Miller Middle School student council representative, assists Alora Lind, 11, as she votes Friday on an electronic machine. More than 400 students voted for student council representatives using three electronic machines brought to the school by the La Plata County Clerk and Recorders Office. A county clerk representative was on hand to oversee the process.
