Shaved lids for kids

Lindsey Fisher with 6th Street Hair Salon works on Cory Finney at Durango High School on Wednesday. Durango High School baseball coaches and players - and other students - shaved their heads for St. Baldrick ’ s, " the world ’ s largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research, " according to the Web site, www.stbaldricks.org Durango High School ’ s baseball team poses with their newly shaved heads. Stormy Petrie, of 6th Street Hair Salon, shaves Clayton Parks as Barbara Acosta assists at Durango High School on Wednesday. Parks shaves his head annually to honor his brother, Wesley Parks, who died in January 2005 at 18 of a brain tumor.
